ASSESSMENT OF SCHOLASTIC AREA
    Academics:
    Two kinds of assessment:
  • FORMATIVE – Continuously during the term
  • SUMMATIVE – At the end of the term
SCHOOL BASED EVALUATION
  • Part  I – Scholastic a & b
  • PART  I    A : Academic Assessment
    Formative – 2 (FA1 + FA2)
    Weightage = 10% + 10% = 20%
    Summative : At the end of each term (Two terms only)
    Two Summatives in a year
    SA1 = 30%    -    First Term
    SA2 = 30%    -    Second Term

    Total

    First Term  =  FA1+FA2  =  ( 10%+10%)  =  20%
    SA1                                                             =  30% / 50%
    Second Term  =  FA3+FA4  =  ( 10+10)  =  20%
    SA2                                                             =  30% / 50%
    First Term  +  Second Term

    50%          +          50 %                             = 100%
EACH FORMATIVE WILL CONSIST OF:

An average will be computed of the work done in two periods in each term.
