Assessment Programme

The importance of qualifications as a passport to higher education and to other courses and careers cannot be ignored. Our pupils in the Senior Secondary Classes are encouraged to see assessment in perspective and to take them in their stride.

There are two terms in a year. The school follows the Continuous and Comprehensive Assessment in the form of Grades of Class Work as well as all learning experiences such as activities, projects ,orals and learning behavior covering the scholastic and co-scholastic areas.

Project work forms an essential part of studies in order to develop creativity and spirit of enquiry in each pupil.

Discipline

Discipline is an important value in life. It is a long process gradually leading the child to pass an objective judgment on his own behaviour. As part of this process we have introduced a card system to bring home to every student that every behaviour entails consequences - positive or negative - at every age. Behaviour of each student is observed closely and recorded through the card system.
